ROGER CORONA, BEAUTY PHOTOGRAPHER

Roger Corona was born en Marseille in 1949.
His adoptive city of Florence changed in 1984, when he moved to Milan and began his profession as a freelance beauty photographer. He began a beauty photographer, working for Italian and international magazines and in advertising.

From 1999 to 2001, his commercial work was divided between Milan and Paris with international advertising agencies including J. Walter Thompson, Ogilvy and McCann Erickson.

In 1995, 1996 and 1997, Corona was a jury member of the Miss Italia beauty contest.

As a professional photographer, he has created the images of campaigns that have since become part of our collective imagination. These include the famous 1995 Fiorucci campaign showing the naked buttocks of a young woman dressed only in pink fur handcuffs; and the 1997 A. Testoni campaign that won the international prize of best advertisement of the year in New York.
